Free Charcuterie Board Cooking Class Offered at Our Lady of Mercy Church

The Greater Shediac Community Garden Inc., in partnership with Our Lady of Mercy Church, is pleased to invite the public to a free, hands-on cooking workshop as part of the HBHM (Healthy Bodies, Healthy Minds) Series.

This engaging class, “The Art of Preparing Charcuterie Boards,” will take place on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Church, located at 11 St. Andrews Street, Pointe-du-Chêne (side entrance).

Led by Artistic Chef Alesha Fredriksen, participants will learn how to design visually stunning and well-balanced charcuterie boards. The workshop will focus on creative presentation techniques, flavor combinations, and tips to elevate everyday gatherings into extraordinary culinary experiences.

This free class is open to all members of the community and offers a welcoming environment where participants can learn new skills, connect with others, and make new friends.

Le Jardin communautaire du Grand Shediac Inc., en partenariat avec l’église Notre-Dame-de-la-Miséricorde, est heureux d’inviter la population à participer à un atelier culinaire gratuit et interactif, offert dans le cadre de la série HBHM (Corps sains, esprits sains).

L’atelier intitulé « L’art de préparer des plateaux de charcuteries » aura lieu le mardi 20 janvier 2026 à 17 h 30, à l’église Notre-Dame-de-la-Miséricorde, située au 11, rue St Andrews, Pointe-du-Chêne (entrée latérale).

Animée par la chef artistique Alesha Fredriksen, cette activité permettra aux participants d’apprendre à créer des plateaux de charcuteries à la fois élégants et savoureux. La formation mettra l’accent sur la présentation artistique, l’équilibre des saveurs et des astuces pratiques pour transformer toute réception en une expérience culinaire mémorable.

Cet atelier gratuit est ouvert à tous et vise à rassembler la communauté dans une ambiance conviviale, propice aux échanges, à l’apprentissage et à la création de nouveaux liens.
