Le solaire, c’est pour moi ? 2 exemples de panneaux solaires connectés et hors réseau. Venez nous joindre à une discussion autour de l'énergie solaire pour les résidents. Premièrement, Jacques Giguère expliquera comment leur maison écologique avec un système solaire hors réseau (non connecté à Énergie NB) lui et sa conjointe Monique Niles, a permis de réduire leur empreinte carbone de 80% sans se priver du confort moderne. Ensuite, Francine Hébert, présentera comment leurs panneaux solaires (connecté à Énergie NB) ont diminué leur facture d’électricité.

La soirée d’info aura lieu le mercredi 11 février (en cas de tempête 18 février) à 18h30 au Centre 50 à Cocagne.

Is solar power right for me? Two examples of grid-connected and off-grid solar panels. Join us for a discussion on solar energy for residents. First, Jacques Giguère will explain how his and his partner Monique Niles’s ecological home, with an off-grid solar system (not connected to NB Power), allowed them to reduce their carbon footprint by 80% without sacrificing modern comfort. Then, Francine Hébert will present how their solar panels (connected to NB Power) have reduced their electricity bill. 

The information evening will take place on Thursday, February 11 (in case of a storm, February 18) at 6:30 p.m. at Centre 50 in Cocagne. Organized by the GDDPC. (the presentation will be in French)
