The journey to the finish line begins long before the parade kicks off. Throughout the month of May, our community is transforming into a creative hub as we build and decorate our very own Kansas state-themed float. This is your invitation to roll up your sleeves and help us bring our "Age fearlessly. Live colorfully" motto to life. Whether you are a master decorator or just want to share in the excitement, these construction sessions are the heart of our preparation. 

On Saturday, June 6, the energy will be electric as we gather at 8:30 AM to prepare for our 10:00 AM parade start. Whether you choose to ride on the float or walk alongside us, you will be part of a tradition that celebrates the history and future of Shawnee.
