# Event Details - **Event Name**: For the Love of an Artist Art Exhibition - **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 21 Feb, 2026 at 02:00 pm – Sat, 21 Feb, 2026 at 04:00 pm - **Event Description**: ATTENTION AREA ARTISTS: Please join us for an arts exhibition in February 2026 themed “For The Love of An Artist" at Shawnee Inn, Shawnee-on-Delaware, PA. The theme “For The Love of An Artist“ calls for creations that speak to the artist, personally – maybe a favorite landscape or object(s), a pet or other personal pleasure, this exhibition calls for artists to create their own interpretations and representations of the theme. Space is limited for this exhibition, which will be open to the public Monday, January 26th through Friday, March 6th, 2026, and we anticipate some awesome works of art by local, talented artists and crafters. The Pocono Center For The Arts is sponsoring the exhibition and invite you ALL to join us in continuing showcasing our artists of all disciplines in this Northeast Region of Pennsylvania. DROP OFF of up to 2 works per artist (APPROXIMATELY 18" x 24") of 2D art OR (no bigger than) 1.5’x 1.5’ for 3-dimensional sculptural work (must provide own pedestal/display) OR combo thereof (i.e., one 2D and one 3D piece) ART INTAKE: Saturday, January 24th from 1-4pm ARTISTS RECEPTION: Saturday, February 21, 2026 from 2-4pm TEARDOWN: Saturday, March 7th, 2026 from 1 - 4 pm There will be a limited amount of space to exhibit for this show.. No Intake Fee. A 30% commission on sold works will go to the PCFTA, a 501c3 non-profit organization. Next exhibition for the Spring Season - also at Shawnee Inn, will be "Fairies, Nature & Magic" - looking for artworks that highlight the upcoming Springtime Season, with an artists' reception on Saturday, March 21st, 2026 from 3 – 5 pm - watch for more details on this and other upcoming events brought to you by Pocono Center For The Arts - the region's arts community organization.
