How do repeated attempts, setbacks, and choices train us to become changemakers in our own daily contexts?
Celebrate the launch of the BA in Public Humanities Programme with an evening of music and sharing featuring Dr. Leung Ka Yan Serrini. Starting from the everyday life of arts students, this session invites participants to imagine how humanistic values can be transformed into concrete decisions and actions that reshape ourselves, those around us, and the wider public. Through music and dialogue, the event offers a shared space for learning, reflection, and renewal.

Guest Profile:
Leung Ka Yan Serrini graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2013, majoring in English. She is an independent singer-songwriter based in Hong Kong and one of the most influential female voices in the contemporary Cantopop scene. Serrini received the Female Singer Award at the 2024 Ultimate Song Chart Awards Presentation.
With a PhD in Cultural Studies, she brings her academic training into her songwriting and artistic practice, composing across genres including pop ballads, electronic dance music, and upbeat love songs, and writing for other artists in both Cantonese and Mandarin contexts.
