Sharpsburg Civil War Ghost Tours and High Priestess Tarot combine to offer a full evening of fascinating historical civil war ghost stories and intrigue. Join us at Captain Bender's Tavern, 111 E Main Street in Sharpsburg for a night out you'll want to repeat often.

Tours run 90 minutes and are $15 for over 17, $10 for ages 10-17, and under 10 is free. Reservations required. Use the tickets link of send an email to hauntedsharpsburg@gmail.com

Tarot readings start at 5:30 and are available before the tour right up to 7:30 (last pretour reading starts at 7:15). Readings take about 15 minutes and are just $15. Julia will read the cards you select and provide insight to events of your past, present and future. Appointments are required. Send email to hauntedsharpsburg@gmail.com

OUR TOURS 

The 90 minute Soldiers' Passageway Tour follows the footsteps of retreating soldiers who left a trail of graves from Sharpsburg all the way to the Potomac. Don't worry, we're only going a few blocks. We'll visit the scene of a large plot of field graves and tell the stories of a drummer boy who came to Sharpsburg but never went home. We'll stop by a former house of Sharpsburg, now an Inn, that has been haunted since a murder that took place there on July 4 1864. We'll show you a place that where artillerists are often seen moving their broken pieces through the streets. Finally, we'll return to Captain Bender's to hear a story of a black dog that haunts the Antietam National Cemetery.

The 90 minute Graveyards, Cemeteries and Soldiers Tour visits a place where many soldiers were killed by a single Union artillery blast, then passes by an old cemetery where strange voices beckon passers by in an unrecognizable language, next shares the story of a soldier riding a white horse and visiting disobedient children, and finally returns to Captain Benders for the story of the Black Dog.
