Sharpsburg Civil War Ghost Tours and High Priestess Tarot combine to offer a full evening of fascinating historical civil war ghost stories and intrigue. 

Join us at Benders Public House & Eatery, 111 E Main Street in Sharpsburg for an unforgettable night

Tours run about 90 minutes and are $15 for over 17, $10 for ages 
10-17, and under 10 is free. Reservations required.

Tarot readings start at 5:00 and are available before the tour right up to 7:00 (last pre-tour reading starts at 6:45). Readings take about 15 minutes and are just $15. Our all original Graveyards, Cemeteries, and Soldiers Tour leads you into some of the darkest corners of Sharpsburg’s past. We begin at the site where a single artillery blast ended the lives of a dozen or so men in an instant—an eerie patch of ground where the air still feels unsteady. From there, we drift past an old cemetery whose headstones lean like tired sentinels, and where passersby have reported hearing strange, beckoning voices speaking what sounds like an unearthly language.

The path then unfolds into the tale of a ghostly soldier on a white horse—a figure said to appear only to misbehaving children, and never with a friendly purpose. And finally, we return to Bender’s Public House and Eatery for one last tale: the unsettling legend of the Black Dog, a shadowy presence known to follow guests
