Join us on March 16th from 6pm–8pm for our monthly Creative Connect, a gathering designed to inspire conversation, connection, and creativity within our community.
This month’s special guest is Marilyn Lysohir, a nationally recognized ceramic sculptor and Sharon, PA native. Now based in Moscow, Idaho, Lysohir creates powerful large-scale ceramic sculptures and narrative installations often rooted in personal and family history.
She studied in Verona, Italy before earning her degree from Ohio Northern University and later completing her MFA at Washington State University. Throughout her career, she has served as a visiting professor and artist at institutions including the University of Idaho, Kansas City Art Institute, Ohio State University, and the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University.
In addition to her renowned ceramic work, she is the founder of Cowgirl Chocolates and co-founder of the annual arts journal High Ground.
Don’t miss this opportunity to hear from an accomplished artist whose work bridges storytelling, history, and contemporary ceramics!
This event is free and open to the public.
