World Migratory Bird Day (WMBD) is celebrated across the world as an education initiative of an organization called Environment for the Americas, which conducts bird conservation work throughout the U.S. and Latin America. This year's conservation theme is Every Bird Counts: Your Observations Matter! It highlights the importance of community science in our understanding of global bird populations.

Birdfest! aims to connect people to birds and to one another through our participating partner organizations, art, fun activities, live bird encounters, and more. See below for more details.
