- **Event Description**: Eager to get your hands in the dirt? Be a part of the solution to non-native, invasive plant takeover at the Sharon Audubon Center. Two years ago, a paid group of eco-minded teenagers called the Greenagers pulled a significant amount of bittersweet, burning bush, and multiflora rose from a small wetland area near Ford Pond. We want to continue working where they left off, as well as pull any new non-native invasives that are popping up in early spring. 

Members of the public are welcome to join this effort! Must be at least 10 years of age, no prior experience necessary. All tools and work gloves provided, though participants are encouraged to bring their own shovels and clippers to ensure there are enough for everyone. Staff will train all volunteers in proper identification of target non-native plant species and removal techniques.

Accessibility 
•	Public parking located fewer than 50 yards from the nature center facility; 200 meters from the restoration site. 
•	Terrain uneven in areas and sturdy footwear is recommended. 
•	Public restrooms are available on-site.
