# Event Details - **Event Name**: Canadian MR2 Experience 2026 - **Event Start and End Date**: Thu, 16 Jul, 2026 at 03:00 pm – Sun, 19 Jul, 2026 at 06:00 pm (-04:00) - **Event Description**: The 2026 edition of the Canadian MR2 Experience is back once more this summer, so come on out and participate in Canada's premier MR2 meet. The dates are Friday, July 17th for the full day track/lapping portion and on Saturday, July 18th for the annual scenic ride as well as the Show N Shine. The locations are all in and around Belleville, Ontario. The full day lapping event (long track) takes place at Shannonville Motorsport Park on Friday, and the cost for the full day is $400 Canadian - valid until Friday, May 1st and after that date the price will be $450 up until July 1st. After July 1st and up until the day of the event, the price will be $475. Spectators are welcome at no charge although everyone must fill in the online waiver form (including minors). Commit quickly to save! There will be a scenic ride/group lunch as well as a car show with numerous trophies on Saturday, July 18th. There will be some tailgating with the MR2BBQ at the event hotel parking lot. For those of you who have participated in the past, you know that a good time will be had by all! This is a friendly event where you can see how your MR2 does during a safe and controlled lapping day, as well as hanging out with like minded people who share your passion for MR2s. There will be free camping on site at the track as well as a hotel 20 minutes away for those who require a bit more pampering! The official hotel for this year's event is once again the Best Western in Belleville. The rate will be $210 per night for rooms with either 2 double/queen beds or 1 queen bed with a sleeper sofa - there are only 15 rooms for both the Thursday and Friday nights as well as several rooms if you wish to stay over on Saturday night to have a fresh start to go home on Sunday.
