Game Background:
In BATTLEWORLD, teams are working together for total domination. This event will require teams to work together one some missions and also challenge players individually off field to complete missions to earn points for your team.
Some missions will be completed in SOLO game mode. Some in SQUAD game mode and other missions are full team. Earn bonuses for your team by unlocking challenges and puzzles. The main goal of RED vs BLUE Battle Royale is to be the last team standing on a shrinking island, achieved by fighting, looting weapons and resources, and using building mechanics for defense or advantage. Players must outlast all opponents while avoiding the encroaching "Storm," which forces them into tighter combat zones, culminating in a "Victory Royale" for the winner.
Key Gameplay Elements:
Survival: The primary objective is simply to survive longer than everyone else, either by eliminating opponents or by carefully avoiding combat. Players will carry a respawn card. Teams that use the fewest number of respawns will earn points towards their team total.
Looting: Players parachute onto the map and scavenge for weapons, healing items, and materials.
Building: Players and squads will help build and defend defensive shields. Once shields are built they have a 20 foot radius where opponents cannot enter. Only opponents who carry the “bomb” (dodgeball) can destroy the shield.
Game Modes: Play solo, with a duo partner, or in squads of up to four players. The goal is for your team color to win the BATTLE ROYALE, with opportunities to win individual prizes for prestige.
Prestige: Players can win individual prizes for completing games and puzzles and winning off field challenges. Some on field items can be used in the game. Some items can be traded in to the game master for a “CHANCE” ticket.
