Shakopee Kindergarten Info Session 2026-27

Come experience the Shakopee difference! Learn more about routines and activities, obtain important dates, engage with staff and feel at ease about the upcoming Kindergarten transition. Activities will be available to keep our future Sabers smiling.

FREE future Saber bag (one per child, while supplies last, made possible by community donations). No registration/RSVP is required.

Where: Host Site - Sun Path Elementary (lower entrance, back of school, all five elementary schools will be present at this site)


The session is open to all interested families and future Sabers. Children must be five (5) years of age by September 1, 2026 in order to enroll for Kindergarten in the 2026-27 school year. An early childhood screening is also required prior to the first day of school. Free early childhood screenings are provided at Pearson Early Learning Center and can be scheduled during the session. The Shakopee Public Schools Welcome Center will also be onsite to support same-day enrollment.
