- **Event Description**: The Western Reserve Chorale’s 34th Annual Holiday Concert brings choral wishes for HARPY HOLIDAYS!

As the title implies the concert will be featuring some of the lovely repertoire for harp and chorus. The featured work will be Camille Saint-Saëns’ Oratorio de Noël (The Christmas Oratorio), an intimate and tender setting of the nativity. A most gorgeous work that strips Christmastide of its secular thrill and draws the listener’s heart to awe and wonder. Under the direction of David Gilson, the WRC will be joined by a quintet of vocal soloists with organ, harp and string quartet.

Four settings of carols by Jackson Berkey (arranger for Mannheim Steamroller) will bring updated rhythms and harmonies to these traditional tunes. Music by Herbert Fromm and Yoni Fogelman allow for an exploration of both the celebratory and the prayerful spirit of Hanukkah.

All WRC concerts are free and open to the public. Donations are gratefully accepted at the door and online.
