In this award-winning storytelling show, Hannah Maxwell hops on a train back to her hometown of Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, taking a whistlestop tour of 90 years of musical theatre heritage in the process. She still remembers every line of their 2010 My Fair Lady production, but nine years in London have left her struggling to find the key.
Step-ball-changing between suburb and city, I, AmDram minds the gap between the identities we assert and the worlds we leave. Hilarious and touching, this show has been performed over 120 times, charming audiences in theatres, festivals, pubs and village halls around the world with singalongs, Gilbert & Sullivan parodies, and painfully long blackouts.
