- **Event Description**: This years Shafter Cinco de Mayo Festival will begin with the Shopeners Family carnival in Mannel Park beginning Friday May 1st and running through Sunday May 3rd. 
Ride bracelets will be available to purchase and are good for rides Friday and Sunday only. 
Also on May 2nd at 6 PM join us for our 3rd annual Viva el Arte in downtown Shafter featuring local Latino artists as well as student art displays. We will also have Mexican arts and crafts for the kids as well as Loteria for the whole family.

The main Parade & Festival will take place Saturday May 2nd beginning with a concert by Banda Arenal de Guanajuato in Central Shafter at 9 AM in front of the parade judges stand.
Directly after the concert, at 10 AM our parade will start.
At 11 AM the festival will begin at Mannel Park with Mariachi Real de Jalisco. 
Entertainment includes performances by:
