Elderberry Syrup Workshop

Join local herbalist Heather Mashuga, M.A. for an Elderberry Syrup class at Franconia Sculpture Park. Learn how to make elderberry syrup, about the combined medicinal properties of the herbs used, and how to identify and harvest elderberries. Heather will also discuss herbs for certain spring ailments. Each participant will leave with a handout and their own 4oz bottle of elderberry syrup.

Did you know that elderberries are known for their immune-boosting and antiviral properties? They are a rich source of vitamins A and E, can reduce the duration of colds and flus, help clear mucus, reduce inflammation, and promote proper circulation.
