# Event Details

- **Event Name**: Winter Greens & Cozy Crafts: Seasonal Greenery Workshop
- **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 05 Dec, 2026 at 10:00 am – Sat, 05 Dec, 2026 at 12:00 pm (-05:00)
- **Event Description**: Celebrate the season with a festive, hands-on workshop using winter greenery from the garden and beyond. We'll explore plants that thrive in the cold months and share ideas for bringing natural beauty indoors during the winter season. During this workshop, we'll use greenery to create lovely holiday focal pieces to bring home! A perfect family outing to spark creativity and stay connected to nature even in the colder months.

*Bring cuttings to use in your decor and share with others - the more diversity, the more visually striking! Plants that work well include: fir, spruce, pine, cedar, rosemary, eucalyptus, magnolia, winterberry, juniper, red twig, dried hydrangeas. Also, you may want to bring a vase or wreath ring for structure. (Bringing greens is not required but very helpful!)

As always, we will have the seed library available - take what you need and add seeds you've saved to share with the community. Seed and cutting donations always welcome, never required.
