Special Olympics Indiana Jackson County is proud to announce the third annual Firetruck Pull. We are honored to present this again this year with the Seymour Fire Department and are happy to have the support of Seymour Walmart.
Get your team of up to 10 people together and raise a minimum of $500 by March 31. All participants will receive a Firetruck Pull T-shirt, and we also will have some available to purchase.
Awards will be given to the team that pulls a 37,000-pound firetruck 50 feet the fastest, the team that raises the most money, the individual who raises the most money and the Special Olympics athlete who raises the most money.
Event sponsorships are available for $100. Your name will appear on the back of the event shirts, be announced at the event and be recognized on our Facebook page. This is open to individuals, couples, families, clubs, organizations, groups, schools, churches, industries, businesses — ANYONE!
We also will have the Covered Bridge BBQ food truck selling food and drinks, children's activities, an emergency responder vehicle display and a kids pull.
In the last two years of this event, we have raised more than $25,000. Proceeds benefit our program, which offers year-round sports training and competition for individuals with intellectual disabilities ages 8 and up. We do fundraisers like this to keep it free for them participate. This has become our largest annual fundraiser.

The team registration form, individual registration forms and sponsorship form are due March 31. Also, the minimum $500 to enter a team is due by that date. Money can continue to be raised and turned in by the team captain the day of the event between 10 and 11:30 a.m. A waiver must be signed by each team member and turned in by the team captain either by March 31 or on the day of the event during the registration time.
