- **Event Description**: Social Sciences Club Guest Speaker and Toy Collection: The Concordia Nebraska Social Sciences Club will host guest speaker Maralee Bradley of The Case for Toys on April 15 at 7 p.m. in Thom 001 to discuss "Jesus, Justice and Foster Care: Our shared calling to bring hope to hurting kids and how we can use a teddy bear to make it happen". The Case for Toys provides toys for courtrooms to give to kids in the court system. The Social Sciences Club will collect toys in donation bins in J-Top, Weller lobby and Thom Mainstreet April 15-22 for The Case for Toys. Please consider donating new, unused Hot Wheels cars, Silly Putty, 5 inch Squishmallows, stuffed animals up to 12 inches, Imagine Ink coloring books, board books, adult coloring books, 12-count colored pencil sets and journal notebooks. The club is also collecting new and lightly-used toys of all types for other organizations they support. Those items may also be placed in the collection bins. Questions? Please contact Katelyn Hetz.
