Step into the gentle flow of movement this winter with an introduction to Tai Chi and Qigong—two ancient practices that bring health, balance, and peace to body, mind, and spirit.
Qigong, the oldest movement system from China, is designed to nourish your energy, strengthen your internal organs, and support whole-body wellness. Tai Chi grew from these roots as a graceful, flowing martial art often described as “meditation in motion.” Together, they invite you to slow down, breathe deeply, and move with intention.
In this six- to eight-week class, you’ll learn:
• The basics of Tai Chi and Qigong movements—beautiful, slow, continuous sequences anyone can do.
• How movement becomes meditation—a way to calm the mind while strengthening the body.
• The dance within Tai Chi—exploring how certain movements can translate beautifully into graceful, dance-like expressions.
• The health benefits—from improving flexibility, balance, and strength, to supporting circulation, relaxation, and inner peace.
This class is suitable for complete beginners as well as more advanced practicioners—no prior experience needed.
