Family and professionals will find ongoing support and leave the Workshop with the following:
>A better understanding of dementia, how it progresses, and available treatments.
>Communication strategies and behavioral interventions proven to work for those living with Alzheimer’s and related dementias.
>Tips to help caregivers take better care of themselves.

Keynote Speaker Melanie Bunn: Participating caregivers will experience an educational and inspirational day of learning led by Melanie Bunn, RN, MS, a nationally known dementia care expert and educator.  Melanie’s teaching style is engaging and interactive. Participants can expect to take home caregiving techniques that will benefit their loved ones and themselves.
