- **Event Description**: You’re invited to join our free in-person support group designed for Black Women ages 35+.About this EventCome share in a safe space where Black women 35+ can connect, share stories, and uplift each other in a supportive environment.Join us as we share experiences, insight, and information that helps us grow, laugh, and build meaningful connections!This gathering will be held on Saturday,April 4th, 2026 at 45 W McKinsey Rd, Severna Park, MD 21146 from 12-2:30pmFacilitated by April Latson, LCSW-C, CCTP, founder of Healing Every Root Wellness Center, this 2.5 hour meet offers a safe, nurturing, and non-therapeutic space for reflection, connection, and restoration.Together, we’ll explore:How to prioritize self-care and wellness, even in challenging timesWays to build and maintain community that feels authentic and safeTools for communicating needs and boundaries in relationshipsAnd more conversations that honor the whole of who we areLunch will be provided, and space is limited to 25 participants to encourage genuine connection and conversation.Come as you are. Leave with a fuller heart, deeper connection, and renewed clarity about what community means for you.Additional Info: This meeting will include a "My Favorite Things" personal care item exchange.  Please  bring a new personal care item (i.e. body butters, hair products, fragrances, oils etc.) that you absolutely LOVE and want to introduce to someone else in the group.
