~ A Day of Glory upon the Spanish Main ~
The winds of war blow across the Knowne World, and the proud shores of Atlantia must be defended. Their Excellencies Linhart and Letia, Baronage of Lochmere, have issued a bold proclamation across the harbors and taverns of the realm: the time has come to assemble a crew worthy of Atlantia's finest flagship.
Gather now at the port, ye who possess valor in battle, skill in the arts, and fire in your hearts. On this storied day, adventurers of every stripe shall prove their mettle across the disciplines of a life at sea — from the clash of blades upon the deck to the art of the ship's physician, from the sharp eye of the sharpshooter to the soulful song of the ship's musician.
The one who earns the highest honor across martial and scholarly disciplines alike shall be proclaimed Captain of the new baronial vessel, granted command of the ship and the eternal glory of having answered Lochmere's call. Lesser titles — no less noble — await the champions of each individual discipline.
And when the tournaments and competitions are done, the port's marketplace — Lochmart — shall open its stalls, offering all manner of SCA goods and treasures. Come to buy, to sell, to share in fellowship and song beneath the open sky.
