An enchanting woodland adventure for children and families!

Step into the magical woods at Reuthe’s and take on The Hidden Herd Trail — a charming self-led experience where children explore our ancient rhododendron woodland in search of something very special…

Hidden somewhere along the trail are our superstar alpacas — Cookie, Scooby, and Chip — waiting to be discovered! Once found, children will enjoy a meet and greet and have the chance to join a mini alpaca trek through the woodland.

This is a gentle, engaging adventure designed to inspire curiosity, imagination and joy.

What’s Included:

A self-guided woodland trail through our historic gardens.

Surprise alpaca encounters along the way.

Mini alpaca treks with Cookie, Scooby & Chip.

Perfect for families, nature-lovers, and young explorers.

Our alpaca are available from 2-4pm. Please ensure you arrive with enough time to complete the trail and interact with the alpaca. We expect the trail to take around 30 minutes to complete.
