- **Event Description**: 🌍In times when the world can feel so tense, dangerous and uncertain, coming together and sit in stillness can be a very powerful act.

Every Sunday we gather for a ~ 20-30 minute Peace Meditation. 
It is a simple and grounding practice to settle your mind, regulate your nervous system and cultivate inner calm.

Research has shown that when people meditate together, the effects may extend beyond the individual. Some studies, often referred to as the “Maharishi Effect,” suggest that group meditation contributes to greater peace, coherence, reduced stress and criminal activities in the surrounding environment.

Also, when we cultivate peace within ourselves, we bring a different quality of presence into the world.

This meditation will include:
*gentle guidance
*moments of silence
*the calming vibrations of singing bowls

No previous meditation experience is needed.
