The evening’s guest speaker, Dave Yarnchak, served as an Army Air Traffic Control Tower Operator at An Khe, South Vietnam. Speaking from the perspective of a 19-year-old soldier, Yarnchak will share personal reflections on his service and its lasting impact. He currently serves as the Post Commander of Carlsborg Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6787.All Vietnam and Vietnam-era veterans are warmly invited to attend. Community members are alsoencouraged to join this tribute to show appreciation and respect for those who served.Post 62 Commander Nancy Zimmermann shared, “Our dedicated ‘Welcome Home’ efforts will soonbe embraced by all Americans, encouraging everyone to thank a Vietnam veteran.”A brief ceremony will be followed by refreshments and fellowship.
