Central Seoul has numerous history, art, and folk museums with new temporary exhibitions every few months. As a ‘stay (mostly) out of the cold’ social activity, we will visit several history and art exhibits, starting with:

The National Museum of Korean Contemporary History (next to the US Embassy), which has 2 exhibitions:

“Nightscapes of Modern Times” and “Returning to Ourselves: Reclaiming Our History 1945-1948.”

All of the exhibits are free except the final one, which is 3,000 won.

After we finish, there is a good Korean restaurant next to Deoksu Palace that we could head to for a meal for those who are interested.
