The 33rd annual Vestry Academy will be held on March 13-14, 2026, in person at St. Crispin’s Conference Center +Camp. The focus will be on the Vestry member’s role as a leader in their congregation. 

Early Bird Registration Closes February 27th at 5:00 p.m. After that, $5 is added to the price of each ticket.

There are two parts to this exciting weekend:

Friday Evening, all current Senior and Junior Wardens and their Clergy are invited to a fireside chat on Friday, March 13th, at 6:00 pm.

Saturday morning, all vestry members and clergy are encouraged to attend from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Registration will open at 8:30 a.m. This year, we will have two separate tracks for Vestry members to select from.

Track #1 Vestry Essentials

This track will help participants learn the essentials of how to be an effective Vestry leader, especially in the areas of the canons, finance, best practices, and roles of ministry. The track is especially recommended for new Vestry members.

Track #2: Congregational Vitality: Tools for the Harvest

"The Harvest is Plentiful!" This track is designed for those interested in sharpening existing tools and practices for use in new and fruitful ways. Through three targeted sessions, we will explore how to refine our external reach to the community. 

All congregations that receive financial assistance from the Diocese are required to send members of the Bishop’s Committee, as well as their clergy, as a condition of their assistance.

Early Bird Registration for this event is:

$25 for the Saturday event (includes entry to the event as well as lunch).

$75 for the Friday night and Saturday event (includes overnight housing and meals).
