- **Event Description**: We’re proud to showcase artwork created by participants in our therapeutic visual arts program, launched earlier this year and led by artist Penny Smith of The Art Factory.

Under Penny’s guidance, participants have explored creativity, built confidence, and found new opportunities for self-expression in a welcoming and supportive environment. The program has fostered wellness, social connection, and joy for individuals living with disabilities, and we have been honored to host it at the Latta.

Join us as we celebrate these talented artists and the work they have created. This is a free event, open to everyone, and refreshments will be provided by Nellie Brown of Nellie Bea’s. We hope you'll come out to support these community members in their artistic pursuits and help recognize all they have accomplished.

A special thank you to Penny Smith for her dedication, encouragement, and commitment to making this program such a meaningful experience.

We also extend our gratitude to the Tennessee Arts Commission, South Arts, and the National Endowment for the Arts for supporting programs that make a real difference in our communities.
