- **Event Start and End Date**: Sun, 11 Oct, 2026 at 01:00 pm – Sun, 11 Oct, 2026 at 04:00 pm (-05:00)
- **Event Description**: 🌤️❤️ IMPORTANT HARVEST OF HOPE UPDATE ❤️🌤️

A more in-depth update will be coming later today, and emails will be going out directly to our vendors, sponsors, participants, volunteers, and community stakeholders. But we wanted to go ahead and share the biggest update with our community:

🍂 Harvest of Hope Community Festival has a NEW DATE! 🍂

📅 Saturday, November 21st
⏰ Festival: 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
🏆 Awards: 2:00–3:00 PM

After closely monitoring the developing tropical weather and considering everything involved in putting on an outdoor event of this size, we have made the difficult decision to move the full Harvest of Hope Community Festival.

With our car show, rib cook-off, vendors, inflatables, petting zoo, hayrides, volunteers, families, and so many other outdoor activities, safety has to come first.

But Harvest of Hope is NOT canceled! ❤️ We’re simply giving it a new day to shine, and we cannot wait to bring everyone together on November 21st!

And while the storm may have changed our plans, it isn’t taking the whole weekend from us.

🌈 HOPE AFTER THE STORM 🌤️

📅 Sunday, October 11th
⏰ 1:00–4:00 PM

🐷 BOSTON BUTTS ARE STILL ON!

🎟️ BINGO!

Specialty Prize Games — $5 per card

🎨 FALL CRAFTS FOR THE KIDS!
We’ll have fun fall crafts available for the kids, including crafts that will be perfect for entering into the upcoming fair exhibitions! 🍁🎃

🛍️ VENDORS: All current Harvest of Hope vendor payments will automatically transfer to the November 21st festival date. However, we’re opening a few spaces Sunday afternoon for vendors who would like to bring a table and join us for Hope After the Storm. Sunday spaces will be available by donation, so reach out if you’d like to participate!

❤️ SUNDAY STILL SUPPORTS OUR PURPOSE!

Hope After the Storm is still a fundraiser benefiting Friends of Olivia and Potters Station Volunteer Fire Department. 🚒❤️

Every BBQ plate, Boston butt, Bingo card, and donation helps us continue supporting two organizations working right here in our community.

Friends of Olivia is working to build hope, belonging, resources, opportunities, and inclusion for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families throughout Alabama’s Black Belt.

Potters Station Volunteer Fire Department is made up of volunteers who give their time to protect and serve our community when they’re needed most.

So even though the weather changed what this weekend looks like, it hasn’t changed why we’re doing it.

Come eat with us. Play some Bingo. Bring the kids. Grab a Boston butt. Pick up Sunday dinner. Shop a little. Or simply stop by and support two organizations that love this community. ❤️
