Your Pre-Rift Kit includes: 1 Mini-preconstructed deck (15 cards including Champion Legend and Champion Unit) 5 Unleashed Booster Packs 1 Pre-Rift Promo Card Players receive 45 minutes to open their kits and build their decks. Gameplay is best-of-one matches. 3 rounds of swiss. 30-minute rounds. 1v1 sealed. Prizing is pack-per-match-win. At the start of the event, the seeded-semi-random pack in the pre-rift kit contains one of six decks at random. This seeded-semi-random pack will be containing 15 cards, including a legend and a battlefield. We also get 5 booster packs to help us build a deck including a minimum of 25 cards. You are allowed to play with your Prerelease Promo Card (to-be-announced)! Everyone gets one in their kit! Players may utilize basic Runes from any source, even if they are not opened in the player’s card pool. If a player notices a discrepancy between expected rarity or frequency of cards in a pack and what is opened, they must notify a judge. If a player notices anything unusual about their pool (11x copies of the same uncommon, or 3x of the same Epic, or a "God Pack" that contains 14 Rare cards), they must notify a judge to prevent accusations of cheating. On top of the two domains our legend dictates, we also pick a third domain to play with. Multiple limitations from the constructed mode are lifted: We can play with any Champion Legend we open in packs, or even decide to play without a legend. Typically, your legend dictates the domains you're in. In a no-legend-scenario, you pick the 3 domains you're playing with. A deck may have any Champion Unit (domain-identity-legal) as its Chosen Champion. This can be "Chosen" even if the printed card does not have a champion tag that matches the Champion Legend. Alternatively, we can decide to not have a Chosen Champion unit. To offset the downside of having no Champion Legend and/or Chosen Champion, you draw a card at the start of your first Beginning Phase. Aka your opening hand has a "free" 5th card! (If you're super unlucky and have neither Legend nor Champion, you still only draw a maximum of one card - aka no 6-card-opening-hands.) A deck may contain any signature spells that are fully included in its domain identity, even if the deck does not include the corresponding champion. The “Unique” keyword does not apply in sealed We are allowed to play more than 3 copies of the same card; if you open 7x Frostcoat Cubs and are playing Mind Domain, feel free to play all of them and have a doggie army! Our champion unit can be anyone as long as it fits our domains, while any signature spell with both domains matching ours is also playable. During deck construction, you choose 3 battlefields from your sealed pool (duplicates allowed) or any number of "blank" battlefields. “Blank” battlefields function as battlefields that do not have any rules text. Otherwise, they adhere to all other normal battlefield rules as defined in the Core Rules. Your deck's starting configuration can be changed! Players may freely change the composition of their starting deck and sideboard between games and matches! Enjoy an accessible, beginner-friendly prerelease experience while previewing Unleashed ahead of launch. There are prize packs in the prize pool, and they'll be distributed to top-placing-finishers!
