This event is proxy-friendly! Proxy guidelines must follow two core rules: 
1.	The card needs the full English name 
2.	The card can not be a “marked card”



Full proxy guidelines:

Please consider using MDFC helper cards as your proxies! They are among the best options available since they are blank canvasses to write on!

The name of the proxied card must be the full English-language name of the card, and must be easily legible. 

While it’s not a requirement, we recommend that your proxy has the full oracle text listed. You can use another magic card that has had certain information either blanked/blacked out (i.e. with acetone/sharpie). 

Legibility is key; the card name MUST be easily legible. Additionally, since this event is proxy-friendly, you must never use proxies to mis-represent the game. Using copies of the same card for proxies will not be accepted, as it will create confusion. For example, if you used Dream Cache and altered/sharpied it to be a proxy for your Brainstorm, using a different Dream Cache altered/sharpied to represent Stock Up would not be acceptable, since the art would cause confusion. 

International Edition and Collector's Edition cards are wonderful proxies, and are acceptable for this event. Once again, you can’t use them if they’re “marked cards;” they have non-Magic card-backs. Please make sure you use opaque sleeves (and/or smoky perfect fits) if you’re using these non-magic-backed cards. 

Printouts that are inserted into sleeves can be legal proxies for this event. The thickness of the card has been altered, since you added a slip of paper. You must be consistent, and have printed slips of paper in every sleeve, so that you have consistent thickness cards. You can not have a deck with hybrid paper slips and non-paper slips; your cards will be considered marked since the cards will have different thicknesses. 

Printouts and/or foil transparencies have have been glued/adhered to Magic cards are marked cards, and will not be legal under any circumstances.
