💡We’re thrilled to announce that Now Then! is teaming up with imitating the dog, the internationally acclaimed company behind some of the UK’s most stunning projection and storytelling works, to create a major new artwork for Selby Light 2026. A free event returning for a second year with brand-new artworks.
🌠Rooted in the voices of local people and brought to life through light, sound and imagination, this will be a celebration of who we are and the place we call home.
✨An experience inside and outside the town’s iconic building, followed by a trail of lit-up artworks through the Abbey Quarter.
This event is being co-produced with Selby based digital art agency Mediale, and in close partnership with Selby Abbey and will celebrate the stories of our community.
It will light up Selby Abbey on 26th, 27th and 28th February 2026, 6pm - 9pm. No tickets required, the event will take place at intervals over the three hours, so arrive throughout the evening.
