Central Texas Ballet Folklorico Contest

Texas Association for Dance and Culture, Teatro De Artes De Juan Seguin, and Grupo Folklórico De Seguin High School proudly present the inaugural Central Texas Folklorico Contest on January 16th, 2026 held at the Performing Arts Center of Seguin High School in Seguin, Texas.

This contest is an extension of the school based Ballet Folklorico contests in Texas spearheaded by the North Texas Ballet Folklorico Contest, created by Texas Association for Dance and Culture in 2019. These contests are proud supporters and proponents of the #balletfolkloricojourneytouil movement.
