Think you’ve got what it takes? Sing it. Dance it. Play it. Perform it. Sedalia’s Got Talent is back and spotlighting local performers of all ages. This FREE community talent competition celebrates creativity, confidence, and hometown stars.
🏆 What’s at Stake?
The Top 3 finalists will perform LIVE at the Water Lantern Festival on April 25, 2026, and one act will be crowned Sedalia’s Got Talent Winner 2026.
📅 Important Dates
• Submission Period: Now through March 1, 2026
• Facebook Voting Begins: March 9, 2026
• Weekly Voting Rounds: March–April 2026
• Final Live Performances & Winner Announced: April 25, 2026 at the Lantern Festival
🎭 Who Can Enter?
• Open to all ages
• Solo performers or groups
• FREE to enter (pre-registration required)
• One entry per individual or group
🎶 Accepted Talent Categories:
• Singing
• Dance
• Musical Instruments
• Bands
• Comedy (must be family-friendly)
• Magic
• Lip Syncing
📹 Submission Guidelines
• Entries must be pre-recorded video submissions
• Videos must be 2 minutes or less
• All participants must complete the official registration form
• Videos must be emailed to

• Incomplete registrations or videos exceeding the time limit will not be accepted
🗳️ How Voting Works
After submissions close, entries will be narrowed down through weekly Facebook voting rounds. Public votes help determine which acts advance each week until the Top 3 finalists remain.
🎉 Finals & Awards
• Top 3 finalists perform live at the Lantern Festival
• Prizes awarded to all finalists
• One act will receive the official title of Sedalia’s Got Talent Winner 2026
