WHAT TO EXPECT
At the Spring Craft Retreat at Bay Shore Camp & Family Ministries, enjoy a refreshing weekend centered on our theme, Unshakable—standing firm in Christ no matter what comes your way. This theme is rooted in Psalm 125:1, reminding us that “Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever.” Through meaningful teaching, creativity, and community, this retreat is designed to encourage your faith and renew your spirit.
To bring this theme to life, we are excited to introduce The Master’s Kitchen as a special and fun addition to the retreat. Just as a master chef knows the purpose and timing of every ingredient, God is steady and intentional—using every part of our lives, both joyful and challenging, to shape us and strengthen our faith in Him. Throughout the weekend, The Master’s
Kitchen will be reflected in warm, welcoming touches that invite gathering, creativity, and connection, while pointing us back to Christ as our firm foundation.
Guest speaker Ruth Tacoma will lead sessions offering biblical encouragement and practical wisdom for living an unshakable life. You’ll also enjoy connecting with returning guest vendors Carin Orth and Renee Ondrajka, along with pop-up demos led by Klarissa Eichler (jewelry care and cleaning) and Anne Albrecht (wreath making).
Guests are invited to participate in The Master’s Kitchen by sharing a favorite recipe and a meaningful scripture on our communal boards. Each guest will have an 8-foot table for
crafting and is welcome to decorate their space to reflect the theme—simple or creative, warm and welcoming—while leaving room for projects and supplies.
With plenty of time to work on your own projects, rest, enjoy fellowship, and savor delicious home-style meals, come expecting a weekend of faith, creativity, and encouragement—grounded
in Christ and strengthened together.
