- **Event Description**: This is Karen Sistrunk's study. It is posted from my husband Gary's page because my own Facebook is still locked, so this is how to reach me for now.

Through the Firestorms is an eight-week teaching study for women. We start Monday, September 28. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., in the Sebastopol area.

What we study is God's Word and how it meets us in everyday life, with stories of His faithfulness shared by the whole room.

The supernatural and miraculous acts of God's faithfulness I experienced in my firestorm were primarily to demonstrate His love for His children and His desire to be real in their lives, showing how far He will go to prove it. We all face different storms, and God has promised that while He may not always deliver us from every fire, He will walk with us through them. We will focus on a God who guards what fire cannot destroy. The provision during my firestorm was so precise that only heaven could have coordinated it. We will explore the faithfulness that meets us in our ruins, awakening us to the miracles God is performing in our lives. God may not always save us from the fire, but He never leaves us to face it alone.

If you are in the ashes of a situation now, or past experiences still hold on to you, this study is for you. Come join us.

But hear me, because I do not want a soul counting herself out. You do not have to have been through a fire to belong in this room.

If you have been spared one and would not know what to say to somebody in one, come and find out.

If you pray for everybody and nobody has ever asked how you are holding up, come and let somebody pour back into you for eight weeks.

If you know God has called you to share His Word and you have been waiting on permission, consider this the somebody.

If you are carrying a story you have never said out loud, there is room for it here.

You don't need to bring a thing. You don't need to have it together. Just come.
