It's almost time to circle up again, for our next Circlesong gathering. 

We'll be at our winter home, the Fireside Room at SebArts (Sebastopol Center for the Arts, 282 South High Street), warming the chill, composing beautiful music on the spot.

What better time to open up our voices and sing out our intentions for the deep work of winter! Down there under the earth, and in the cloudy skies, our world waits for music to turn all potential into growth and nourishment. Join in, and see what we can do!

As always, we'll be guided by David Worm in this 2-part offering to deepen in the art of making improvised music with the support of community. There will be lots of singing together, interspersed with individualized "workshopping" with David, as the moment calls.

and/or improvised singing ??

We meet every other month, on Second Saturdays. 

NOTE: We're in our Winter home now! (Sebastopol Center for the Arts, in the Fireside Room)

Upcoming dates, also at Sebastopol Center for the Arts: 
January 10 (at SebArts), March 14 (indoor location, TBD)

All are welcome to attend one or both sessions.

Requested Contribution:
$20-30 either morning or afternoon, 
or 
$40-$50 for both sessions 
(cash or venmo/paypal)
No one turned away for financial reasons!

We'll have a half-hour break partway through - good for snacking, lunch, walking, talking, fresh air, etc.

Practice and play with Collaborative Improvised Singing, in all different arrangements and games. Guided by local facilitators.

What is CircleSinging?
A joyous, spontaneous chorus guided in improvised songs. The mostly-wordless, flexible sound format has allowed CircleSinging to become a worldwide art form, practiced in little pockets throughout countries and cultures. The music is accessible, uniting and intuitive, so no prior experience is necessary to participate or to enjoy, as it unfolds very simply.

Who is David Worm?
Since 1987, David Worm has been touring the world and sharing the magic of improv Circlesinging with Bobby McFerrin as a founding member of vocal bands Voicestra, WeBe3, SoVoSo, Gimme 5, and Motion. Voices in a New World is his latest project. He teaches CircleSinging facilitation in Oakland and Beyond.
