Café Weekend is typically closed on Wednesdays for their teams regularly scheduled selfcare/day off. Since the Spring of 2025 we have offered our community a space to gather 1x per month - neighbors, artists, cyclists, friends, all to join us in a Wellness Day together. Join us for our 1st event of 2026 as we prepare ourselves for Spring.Healing Artist - Jen Moore will be offering a community sound bath - an immersive 1hr experience full of soothing sounds intended for balancing and relaxing the nervous systemDoors open at 6pm for a self-guided stretching for your own restorative needs for 30 min. to unwind and settle into a calm space to prepare for the 1hr Sound Bath following. This session will be accompanied by ambient /electronic sounds via Intervales.After the Sound Bath, Café Weekend will offer a community tea tasting to re-set and awaken our senses while offering space for the community to be present and share stories. The Tea Social will be accompanied by an Ambient/ Electronic 45 min music set via Intervales.See options in tickets menu items to pre-order for snacks to pair with your tea.Intervales - Alex Vittum - performing with acoustic percussion, synthesizers, and live video processing, Intervales is the electronic/ambient music project of Alex Vittum. Obsessed with hypnotic and melodic themes, Intervales has an enveloping, contemplative sound that is often playful, atmospheric and at times drifts into darker, ominous sound worlds.Overall Schedule:6:00 - 8:30pm (ticketed RSVP)Re-set your week and join us for a Wellness Wednesday Sound Bath & Ambient Tea Social:*6:00 - 6:20pm DIY SelfGuided / Restorative time for the soul - Allow yourself some down time to find space to unwind as we prepare for our 1 hr immerive Sound Bath. This time can be used for your own self-guided gentle stretch time to get comfortable on the floorspace before the sound bath. Please arrive no later than 6:20pm to assure yourself to settle in to the room and floor space with the other attendees. Intervales will accompany a short set.6:30 - 7:30pm Sound Bath with healing artist Jen Moore. Guests will be laying on the floor or sitting comfortable during the sound emersion for 1hr self-care and relaxation.
