- **Event Description**: Form your squad and register for RUSH's QUADS GRASS TOURNAMENT at Greenlake on August 1st. This is a gender neutral tournament for all divisions. Grab your friends to form a team 4 players of any gender with up to 2 subs and join the fun. We will have a center court where players will cheer on your games and photographers will take photos of you. First teams to register get to play some games at center court. 

COST: $160 per team (up to 6 players per team)

DATE: Saturday, August 1, 2026

LOCATION: GREENLAKE PLAYFIELD, 7201 East Green Lake Dr N, Seattle, WA 98115

TIME and SCHEDULE: Tournament starts at 9:00 AM. Pools play schedules will be posted the night before. Playoffs begins around 1pm. 

FORMAT: 4 v 4. Pool play followed by double elimination for playoffs. In a pool of 4 teams, the top two teams advance to an upper bracket and the lower two teams advance to a lower bracket for playoffs.

Pool play matches will be 2 sets to 21. Playoffs matches are best 2 out of 3 games (21, 21, 15) win by 2 points, not capped. Contenders' games are just 1 set to 21 points no caps. 

DIVISIONS: Open (Upper), BB (Intermediate), and Beer Division (Beginners and Recreational players) are gender neutral. You can have players of any gender in your team. There is no gender minimums. Anyone can block anyone regardless of gender. Any player can hit from anywhere regardless of gender. Beer Division will be played at a 7'8" height net. 

PRIZES (subject to change based on number of sign-ups):

A/AA 1st GOLD: $800 CASH PRIZE
A/AA 2nd GOLD: Small prizes
A/AA/ 1st SILVER: Small prizes

BB 1st GOLD: $600 CASH PRIZE
BB 2nd GOLD: Small Prizes
BB 1st SILVER: Small prizes

Beer Division 1st place: New Wilson OPTX volleyballs
Beer Division 2nd: Small prizes

REFUNDS: 100% REFUND if you ask for it for any reason on or before July 27. If the tournament is canceled for any reason, you will receive a 100% refund. No refunds after July 27, 2026. You can sell your spot to another team. Email director@rushvolley.com for a full refund before then.
