Through studio tours, tastings, pop-up markets, demonstrations, and hands-on experiences, Seattle Made Week connects the community with the businesses strengthening our region's economy, culture, and sustainability.Join us for an afternoon of discovery at Reuse Commons Lake City. Meet local makers, enjoy complimentary snacks and beverages, participate in a drop-in creative workshop, browse pop-up vendors featuring circular economy businesses, and learn how this exciting new space is helping build a more sustainable future.Throughout the afternoon, guests are invited to:Tour the new Reuse Commons Lake City facility, including its micro-manufacturing production studio, retail space, workshop, and event venue.Enjoy local snacks and beverages.Participate in a free ongoing hands-on workshop led by Seattle Made member Botanical Colors.Shop pop-up vendors featuring Seattle Made businesses focused on reuse, repair, and the circular economy.Connect with local entrepreneurs, makers, and community members.Agenda:Guest Arrival @ 1:00–1:45 PM: Enjoy refreshments, explore the workshop, browse pop-up vendors, and mingle.Welcome & Presentation @ 1:45 PM: Learn about Seattle Made Week and the vision behind Reuse Commons Lake City during a brief 10–15 minute presentation.Guided Tour @ 2:00 & 3:00 PM: Take a guided tour of the facility and hear about the project's development, mission, and community impact.This event is hosted by . If you would like to make an optional donation to support their Resiliency Fund, which helps ensure local entrepreneurs can participate in programs, build connections, and access critical resources regardless of financial barriers, you may do so on their RSVP page. The fund provides application and membership fee waivers, membership support, participation stipends, and access to resources when they need them most.Please reach out to events@goodbusinessnetwork.org with any questions.ACCESSIBILITY:Much of the venue is wheelchair accessible. Some classes may utilize the balcony space, which only has standard-width door access. The facility has an ADA-compliant all-gender restroom.Non-English and ASL interpreters are not provided at our classes and events. However, attendees are welcome to bring their own interpreters.Please contact us with any accessibility notes or requests.GETTING THERE:By transit: Served by bus route 522 from Roosevelt Station, or route 61 from Northgate StationBy bike: There are multiple bicycle route options available to the Reuse Commons, and you are welcome to park your bicycle in the back of the building where a volunteer will be present for parking coordination.Car parking: There will be a large parking lot with volunteer coordination throughout the event. Guests will be required to exit the parking area at the conclusion of the event. There is additional street parking along Lake City Way NE if you would prefer.
