The Punk Rock Flea Market kicks the holiday season firmly in the jingle bells! Bringing Seattle a gloriously unwholesome alternative to the annual shopping shitshow at the Quality Flea Center on 15th Ave. E in the heart of Capitol Hill.
On December 12–14 the PRFM opens the doors to a community of brilliant artists and hard-working makers who prove you don’t need a megastore to find something worth giving. This is real human-powered holiday chaos: more than 200 vendors slinging vintage fashion, curated music, leather goods, taxidermy, witchcraft supplies, stickers, action figures, pocketknives, cosmetics, ceramics, skateboards, tattoos AND SO MUCH MORE. It’s a holly-jolly anti-capitalist shopping spree, never mind the muzak.
Meanwhile the liquor’s flowing, the music’s loud, and food vendors serve up the kind of fuel we need to survive the season. It’s pure end-of-year mayhem — blinking lights, joyful noise, killer snacks, and zero regrets.
The PRFM remains an ALL AGES experience. Kids bring the commotion, elders bring the wisdom, and everyone brings the noise — that’s how the PRFM rolls. And we refuse to participate in seasonal price-gouging by upping our entry fee. It’s still just ONE MEASLY DOLLAR to enter the PRFM! Damn, we’re good.
