Community Plogging Run: LOCATION CHANGE 

This Sunday, we are teaming up with REI Run Club and A Cleaner Alki to bring you a very special Earth Day (month) community run event.  A Community Plogging 5K & 10K! 

In order to make the biggest impact, we have moved this run to Lake Union Park!  The run will begin at 10am.  Please arrive a few minutes early to check in, and for warm coffee. You will have the option to complete a 5K or 10K route. All necessary supplies will be provided.    

5K route:  The 5K route will head east out from Lake Union Park. At 1.6 miles there will be an aid station and turn around.  We will then head back toward Lake Union Park. 

10K route:  The 10K route will head east out from Lake Union Park.  You will pick up supplies and fuel at the aid station (1.6 miles).  Then continue around the rest of the lake meeting us back at Lake Union Park.  Check out the course on Strava HERE:  https://www.strava.com/routes/3344371275454415318 

We will also be collecting old medals and shoes for recycling.   

All paces welcome!  We will have sweeper volunteers for both courses.  This event is friendly furry friend welcome (but please leash and pick up after).  Bring family or a friend!  RSVP on Facebook or Strava to ensure we have enough snacks.  This event is free of charge.  We can’t wait to plog with you!
