Mystical Melodies: Rāgas of Enchantment & Devotion

A concert of Indian classical music featuring sitar master Pandit Supratik Sengupta, and renowned vocalist Smt. Kasturi Bandopadhyay. A roster of top-level local artists will also be performing with this duet including noted American sarod player Richard Russell and harmonium player Saikat Ray. Tabla accompaniment will be provided by the highly-respected Supratik Chatterjee. The program is sponsored and presented by Kala Sangam and Yuva Raga and will be staged at Brechemin Auditorium in the music school on the University of Washington campus. The event offers FREE parking and is open to all. Tickets are $25 general admission (presale) and $30.00 at the door. Seniors 65+ are $15 and students with ID and kids 12 and under are FREE.
