For more than 50 years, staff have walked alongside our participants who set the pace for their own recovery. Today, the terrain is harder than ever: deadly synthetic opioids, a resurgence of “War on Drugs” rhetoric, and funding pressures across the nonprofit sector threaten to slow the progress we’ve worked hard to make. That’s why we created Move for Recovery — a community event that celebrates progress that is multifaceted, includes powerful sharing, and supports recovery in all its forms. Whether you walk, run, hike, bike, roll, or cheer from the sidelines, every movement represents the reality that recovery is possible. https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events5/banners/eacd94e0-98ff-11f1-9a40-7b90de720125-rimg-w1108-h740-dc083888-gmir.jpg Join us at Seward Park!Seward Park is a 300-acre park on a Peninsula in Seattle’s Lake Washington. We serve over 13,000 people each year through a continuum of care in our three clinics and through services we bring directly into the community. We follow a healing-centered approach and provide services regardless of whether those we serve are using drugs. Our interdisciplinary team includes clinicians with advanced degrees in medicine, psychiatry, nursing, psychology, social work, and counseling. We aim to keep people as safe and healthy as possible, and build long-term, compassionate relationships with those we serve to best understand and meet their recovery goals, like reducing drug use, finding housing or employment, or reconnecting with their families.Learn more atevergreentreatment.org"
