In Washington state, an estimated 250,000 people could lose their insurance coverage. The most affected populations are expected to include children, older adults and people with disabilities. At this year’s Fall Summit, we will examine what the proposed cuts to Medicaid and other health care programs mean for nurses, as well as the surrounding ethical implications.To help guide this conversation, we’ll hear from two guest speakers. Justin Gill, DNP, ARNP, RN, president of the Washington State Nurses Association, will address the association’s response to H.R. 1 and a recent ANA resolution.
