Heart Healing Cacao Ceremony

Within each of us lives a beautiful heart that continuously beats and beats with no breaks, keeping us alive for another moment, another day. We don’t tell our heart to do this — it simply does. Just like we don’t tell the heart to feel the array of emotions that move through us; they just arise. And this array of emotions is what brings our life a sense of aliveness.

But often in life, we experience intense emotions that we were unable to fully handle or process. Over time, these unprocessed emotions can become stuck, creating energetic imprints or samsaras that cloud the pure, radiant energy of the heart chakra.

In this ceremony, we will tune into the heart chakra and explore any stagnant energy still lingering there. You will be guided through an inner heart meditation and connect to the medicine of cacao — a pure, ceremonial-grade form of chocolate known for its ability to open and activate the heart chakra.

Scientifically, cacao contains theobromine, a naturally occurring compound that is both a gentle cardiovascular stimulant and a mood enhancer. Unlike caffeine, theobromine increases blood flow, widens blood vessels, and supports heart function without creating a jittery effect. Theobromine can stimulate the cardiovascular system, encourage feelings of warmth and openness, and support the release of dopamine and serotonin — the body’s natural “feel-good” neurotransmitters.

The cacao we will be drinking includes: ceremonial cacao, coconut milk, cinnamon, and honey.
