Seattle’s most unfiltered literary series returns for its February installment at its new home, The Mountain Room (The bar at the R!)
Seattle, WA — Playwright-turned-author Paul Mullin is back with the next installment of the local literary reading series: Crowd Mouth Lit, kicking off Sunday, February 22 at 6:00 PM at The Mountain Room, promising an evening of literature that’s loud, local, and lit.
No podiums. No preciousness. Just a mic, a crowd, and words that leave a mark.
CROWD MOUTH LIT builds on the legacy of Loud Mouth Lit, which earned a reputation for its gritty venues, theatrical flair, and curated pairings of compelling writers that bring literature out of the ivory tower and into the warm rooms of real life.
This second installment features:
• Genjo Marinello Roshi, Abbot of Chobo-Ji Rinzai Zen Temple on Beacon Hill and author of Reflections on Awakening & Maturity for Spiritual Companions and Intimate Infinite.
• Stage-poet Pamela Hobart Carter, reading new poems from her chapbook in progress.
• Readings from Paul Mullin’s unpublished novel One Cherry Deep featuring beloved A Very Die Hard Christmas actors Rebecca Olson and Bob Williams.
• Live music featuring Heather Curtis Mullin and Josh Parks
• Plus much, much more!
