You will learn how to turn a rough stone/slab into a beautiful shaped and polished cabochon ready to be set in jewelry or for your display case. You will learn the tools used to cut stone, get comfortable working with equipment, and you will cut Brazilian Agate (provided) into a calibrated oval shape. This class is one of the requirements for the open lapidary studio.- Please Read Below -Check your email a few days before your class for further instructions.Our classroom is located upstairs and are limited to 4 students for this class.- FAQ -Is this class loud?Yes. You will be working with loud equipment (earplugs are provided).Do we have to wear masks?No, masks are optional. We do have a stage in the stone cutting process where masks are required (provided as well)***You are purchasing a seat at an event just like a sporting event or concert. These tickets are not transferable to a different class credit or store credit if you are not able to make it. Cancellations made 7 days or more in advance of the event date will receive a refund.
